1.中文：桌上有幾本小說。
（誤）There is some novels on the table.
?。ㄕ㏕here are some novels on the table.（主語some novels是復(fù)數(shù)，謂語動詞要用復(fù)數(shù)。）
2.中文：他的褲子是新的。
（誤）His trousers is new.
?。ㄕ〩is trousers are new.（主語trousers是復(fù)數(shù)，謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)。）
3.中文：學(xué)外語花去我們很多時間。
（誤）Learning foreign languages take us a lot of time.
?。ㄕ㎜earning foreign languages takes us lots of time.（動名詞當主語時，謂語動詞用單數(shù)。）
4.中文：在兩座建筑物之間有一面墻。
?。ㄕ`）Between the two buildings stand a wall.
（正）Between the two buildings stands a wall.（主語是a wall，正常語序是A wall stands between the two buildings.）
5.中文：桌上有一盒雞蛋。
?。ㄕ`）A box of eggs are on the table.
?。ㄕ〢 box of eggs is on the table.（主語a box是單數(shù)，謂語動詞用單數(shù)。）
6.中文：我的朋友們來了。
?。ㄕ`）Here comes my friends.
?。ㄕ〩ere come my friends.（主語my friends是復(fù)數(shù)，謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)，本句的一般語序是My friends come here.。）
7.中文：咖啡加牛奶是她最喜歡的飲料。
?。ㄕ`）Coffee and milk are her favourite drink.
?。ㄕ〤offee and milk is her favourite drink.（coffee and milk習慣上被視為一個整體，是單數(shù)，謂語動詞用單數(shù)。）
8.中文：他的一家人都喜愛音樂。
（誤）His family is fond of music.
?。ㄕ〩is family are fond of music.（集合名詞family在本句是指全家人，是復(fù)數(shù)，謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)。）
9.中文：他們每個人有一本字典。
?。ㄕ`）They each has a dictionary.
?。ㄕ㏕hey each have a dictionary.（主語they是復(fù)數(shù)，謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)，each是修飾語。）
10.中文：許多學(xué)生對英語感興趣。
（誤）Many a student are interested in English.
?。ㄕ㎝any a student is interested in English.（many a＋可數(shù)名詞的單數(shù)形式，雖然表示復(fù)數(shù)的意義，但被看作單數(shù)主語，謂語動詞用單數(shù)。）
